I currently teach first-year expository writing in the Harvard College Writing Program. My course "Representing Childhood" explores the tensions that have made children into vessels of meaning for a wide variety of political and aesthetic purposes. I am deeply committed to writing pedagogy in all of my teaching. In addition to writing, I have taught the Russian literary canon, Russian language, and philosophy.
